Location
Ealing is a large suburb in west London and is often referred to as the Queen of the Suburbs. As well as being famous as the home of the Ealing Film Studios, it is also host to several annual festivals including the Jazz, Comedy and Beer Festivals. It has a great transport network meaning that you can be in the centre of London within 15 minutes from Ealing Broadway station, making it a fantastic base for exploring central London. It is conveniently located close to both the M4 and The M40, plus it is only 20 minutes away from Heathrow airport, which makes getting there very straightforward.
Travelling from Heathrow airport
Take the Piccadilly line towards London, travel 7 stops and get off at south Ealing tube station. The journey will take approx. 20 minutes. Turn left as you come out of the station and follow the road round until you come to the New Inn pub, the entrance to St Mary's Place is through the archway next to the pub. The walk will take approx. 5 mins.
Travelling from the Eurostar.
If you are arriving in the country via the Eurostar, then take the Piccadilly line tube from King's Cross St Pancras and get off at South Ealing station, follow directions given above. The journey will take approximate 30 mins.
Travelling from the M4 (from the west)
The cottage is approx. a ten minute drive from the M4. Leave the M4 at junction 2, signposted to N and S Circular, A4, A406, A205, Chiswick, A315.
Travelling from the M40 / A40 (from the north)
The cottage is approx. a fifteen minute drive from the A40. Leave the A40 at the junction signposted to Perivale and Ealing.
